Updates and Information About Our Local Libraries

Everything You Need to Know About Our Libraries in the Wilkes-Barre and Surrounding Areas

By Joey Lynn Walko- Macaroni Kid Wilkes-Barre Publisher September 2, 2020

One of my favorite scents is the musky vanilla-like aroma of the pages in a hardcover book while I’m reading a good story. The smell immediately transports me back to my childhood and my weekly trips to the Back Mountain Library to visit Mrs. Rudolph and see what book suggestions she had for me that week.

Reading can transport you to other times and places. It can teach you something you didn’t know before and it can help you relax- all while stimulating you mentally and boosting your brain power.

Below is a list of our local libraries and any information you may need to know before visiting their locations.

"The only thing you absolutely have to know is the location of the library."
