The 2017 Macaroni Kid Wilkes-Barre GOLD Daisy Awards are officially underway! This article has all of the details for this year's award program.
THE SCHEDULE
Nominations will be open from May 8, 2017, at 7:00 PM until May 22, 2017, at 6:59 PM.
Voting will be open from May 29, 2017, at 7:00 PM until June 19, 2017, at 6:59 PM.
Any votes cast after the dates and times indicated will not be counted.
Winners will be announced on June 26, 2017.
THE RULES
To nominate or vote for a business, you MUST BE A SUBSCRIBER to the Macaroni Kid Wilkes-Barre newsletter. You can subscribe here for FREE.
You may nominate as many or as few businesses as you would like. You must nominate in at least ten categories to be eligible for the prize drawing.
Business owners may nominate and vote for themselves.
Business may NOT enter their email lists for nominations or voting. Doing so will eliminate your business from the contest.
Up to the top five businesses receiving the most online nominations in each category will move on to the voting round starting May 29, 2017.
Categories receiving nominations for fewer than five different businesses will have fewer nominees moving on to the voting round.
Businesses MUST be located in the Macaroni Kid Wilkes-Barre territory. We cover from Hanover Township to the Lackawanna River, out to Harveys Lake and everything in between.
Only one submission per email address, please. Only valid email submissions will be counted.

- WINNING businesses will receive a FREE listing in our Macaroni Kid Business Directory through June 30, 2018, inclusion in the newsletter article announcing the winners, a 2017 Macaroni Kid Gold Daisy Award certificate to display at their place of business, a "Winner" logo for their website, and the honor of knowing that local families think they are the greatest!
