Living here in Northeastern Pennsylvania we are fortunate to be surrounded with so many different kinds of farms. I love hopping in the car with the family and heading out to one of the pick your own farms to spend some time in the fresh air and sunshine. It's a great way to teach our son about where our food comes from and everything involved with farming. I'm grateful for the fact we can stop by one of the farm markets or stands to support a local family owned farm offering a ton of freshly picked produce. We can also pick up our fall decorations at the farms and spruce up our porch with some cornstalks, mums, and hay bales. Hay rides, corn mazes, and apple cider are all on our bucket list every fall and lucky for us we don't have to travel far to have some autumn fun.
Find out about our local apple orchards HERE and farmers markets and a roadside stand HERE. I've included all of these locations on the map located at the bottom of this article. If you know of a farm not listed on the map, please send me an email, email@example.com and I will add them to the list. Thank you.
