Take the Stage offers an innovative way to teach the Performing Arts education in dance, vocal, and theater. With a focus on each individual student, we are able to create the best performing arts education customized to each student's needs. Our faculty continuously train to keep current on trends, techniques, and safety. TTS's Dance Program is a standardized program that allows each student, between the ages of 2.5-18, to grow every year. We cap all dance classes at 8 students to make sure each student get the proper attention and training. We also have a brand new TOTS program for students ages 2.5-4. These programs were developed with industry leaders in early childhood education and dance. We offer Pre- Ballet, Pre- Tap, and Jazzy Pop in our TOTS Program. We offer numerous dance styles for all students to try in a group, trio, duo, or solo class size. Our Vocal Program is open to students who love singing and want to learn the correct techniques for healthy lifelong singing. Whether your student just loves to sing or is looking to make a career out of it we can build our classes to your student's needs. Each vocal student will learn multiple genres, techniques, and music theory. The Theater Program consists of 5 Shows and other performance opportunities throughout the year. This program is used to teach the ins and outs of theater to each student. Our program includes audition processes, rehearsals for each show (including blocking, character work, accents, set understanding, ect.), information about the history of theater, the technical background of theater, among many other things. Our theater program works closely with the Back Mountain Memorial Library to produce the "Theater on the Auction Block," series which consists of 3 shows per year. We also produce 2 Main Stage Musicals in the Fall and Spring at Misericordia University. We strive to offer a fun, healthy, safe, and creative learning environment for each student.
