After seeing our local road get repaved this past year, and listening to the kids complain about the cracked and bumpy driveway; we decided to do some research on driveway maintenance. I'm a huge advocate for supporting small local family businesses, so I couldn't be happier to come across CB Asphalt Solutions.
CB Asphalt Solutions is a family owned and operated business, based locally in Mountain Top PA, that does amazing work with rave reviews! They also have their own "Give Back Program" to support local organizations such as churches, schools, hospitals, non-profits and more that serve our community. These are my favorite kinds of local businesses, so we hired them to Sealcoat our driveway and I couldn't wait to share the results with you!

We found working with CB Asphalt Solutions so simple and straight forward; having no experience with driveway maintenance or what we needed, I reached out, and promptly got a reply from the owner, Caitlyn. Caitlyn provided some information about sealcoating; the recommended maintenance for our driveway, and scheduled for her husband Connor to come out for a free estimate. After Connor came to measure and evaluate our driveway we received a very detailed and professional estimate via email outlining the requirements for our maintenance which included:
1. Preparation of Property: including removal of debris- gravel, weeds, grass, leaves, etc.

2. Crack Filling (185 linear ft): Hot tar applied to all cracks reviewed in order to prevent moisture from penetrating and damaging deep layers of asphalt

3. Sealcoating [4,350 Ft²]: Commercial grade sealcoat applied to all areas reviewed in order to protect and extend the longevity of your asphalt

We were pleasantly surprised by the estimate considering the size of our driveway, it's poor condition, and the potential cost of major repairs to the asphalt or repaving the entire driveway, which may have been required in the next few years if we continued to let it crack and deteriorate without maintenance. We were able to get our sealcoating scheduled in promptly and at a convenient time that worked for us. We were provided all of the aftercare information in advance so we were able to book in the maintenance accordingly.

Connor and his team had great communication; they confirmed their arrival time the day before and on the morning of the job. They also discussed potential weather delays and what we could expect on the day. They arrived on time and did amazing, meticulous and speedy work. They showed professionalism and expertise by apply the sealcoating with a manual method, verse their standard machines, and explaining that this was due to predicted rain later in the day.
The results speak for themselves; our driveway looks amazing and it has improved the curb appeal of our entire property. Our kids are also super happy to have a smooth ride for their electric car, bikes, scooters and hoover boards, as well as a blank canvas for all the chalk art they are already planning!
