Meet the SPCA of Luzerne County's Adoptable Pets of the Week šŸ¾

Can You Help Them Find Their Fur-Ever Home?

By Amber Nevin, Macaroni Kid Wilkes-Barre Publisher & SPCA of Luzerne County October 18, 2021

Macaroni Kid Wilkes Barre has teamed up with the SPCA of Luzerne County to help these fur-babies find a fur-ever home.

šŸ¾ Mark #48695092 {Husky X, Male Adult 2y}

Mark is a young husky mix we have available for adoption. He would be best in a home that has experience with his breed. He needs to go into a home with no children, but he is dog friendly. He does tend to be dominant with other dogs though. Stop by and see Mark!

You can apply to adopt him by filling in this Adoption Form and email it to adoptions@luzernespca.org or fax to 570-825-7898. If you have any questions call our adoption office at 570-825-4111 ext. 102.

šŸ¾ Jack #46008514 {Male Adult 2-3y, Lab/Pit Bull X}

With Halloween coming up, it has almost been a year since Jack found his way to us. Jack can be timid around new people, but he warms up to you within minutes. He’s made amazing progress from his first day here as a stray. He was originally found in the woods and it took a rescue team 10 days to get him. He’s made leaps and bounds since then and he finally trusts good people. He is friendly with small children and other dogs. He loves his toys and will give you sit and paw for his favorite treats- sometimes he’ll even give you a cute little beg! Here’s to finding Jack his home.

If you are interested in adopting Mark, Jack or any of the many other pets Luzerne County SPCA has available please fill out an adoption application here: Adoption Form and email it to adoptions@luzernespca.org or fax to 570-825-7898. If you have any questions call our adoption office at 570-825-4111 ext. 102.

The Luzerne County SPCA has many more adoptable pets available now! You can view them on their website HERE or in their facebook photo albums, please click on the type of pet you are interested in to view!
