About me
My name is Amber Nevin and I am the new publisher for Macaroni Kid Wilkes-Barre PA. This includes Wilkes-Barre and the surrounding areas including Kingston, Dallas, Pittston, Wyoming, Ashley, Avoca and everything in between! There are soo many great businesses, families and resources here, I'm excited to have the opportunity with Macaroni Kid to bring everyone together and provide a central source of information, events and family fun!
I currently live in Dallas, PA, near my hometown of Huntington Mills with my husband and daughters Evie (5) and Olive (7). Before moving back to this area, I lived in Philadelphia, Los Angeles and London; where I had both of my daughters and started my journey as a mother. Now that we are settled back here in our hometown, around family and childhood friends I am pursuing my passion of building a strong sense of community and family to my local area through Macaroni Kid Wilkes-Barre. I also help fulfill this passion by running a small business with my mom and sisters, called TeaTime4Tots that helps build a community of caregivers and little ones ages 0-5 through (currently virtual) weekly sessions on a variety of topics relating to early childhood development.
I am really looking forward to hearing from you as subscribers and local businesses to hear about what I can do to help you become or stay connected to the community!
