My name is Nicholas Acri and I started my training in the martial art of Tang Soo Do a little over 25 years ago. Currently, I am a 4th-degree black belt, certified instructor, and a certified judge through the World Tang Soo Do Association. Martial arts have made a tremendous impact on who I am today, and I am confident that every person can benefit from martial arts training. I was honored when my first instructor trusted me to start teaching classes 3 years into my training. I have been teaching ever since (for 22 years now.) In January 2011, it was time to open my own studio, Jae Nam Training Academy. We offer martial arts programs for all ages 4 and up. Whether you’re looking to increase physical fitness, boost self-confidence, gain self-discipline, or learn some self-defense, there truly is something for everyone. My favorite thing as an instructor is seeing my students evolve through the years as they achieve their goals. Throughout my training, I have been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work with numerous talented martial artists from around the world. I take everything I learn and pass it on to my students so that they can become the best versions of themselves.
