Guess what?  The Air Show is returning to NEPA for the first time in 17 years!  The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Airport will be hosting the air show on August 12 and 13, 2017. So exciting!  I remember going to an air show a long time ago.  So long ago that I can't even remember where it was, but it was so neat watching the jets do tricks in the sky.   I cannot wait to take my boys so they can enjoy it as well.  

Performers of the show include the U.S. Army Golden Nights Parachute Team, U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor Demo Team, Redline Airshows, Kevin Russo Airshows, Greg and Ashley Shelton Wingwalking, and much more!  There will also be a kids zone and exhibits to enjoy.

Tickets can be purchased on the NEPA Air Show website and range from free (ages 5 and under) up to $20.

Airport officials encourage you to park at the Northeast Fairgrounds and take the shuttle back and forth to the airport.  Show gates open at 9:00 am.  Bring a folding chair or blanket to sit on, ear protection, sunscreen, sunglasses, camera, and money for food and souvenirs.  Food and drinks will be available at the show.  No outside food or drink will be permitted.
