A lifetime of canning, cooking, and baking experience led to the beginning of Mrs. Fritz's Homemade in 2006. We felt that people were looking for more items that had the "homemade" taste and appeal.
What started then with a few basic flavors has expanded over the last 10 years. We offer over 2 dozen flavors of jams, jellies, and butters. Our line of canned goods includes 8 varieties of salsas, pickles, beets, and much more. A full line of dry dip mixes are also available.
Our products are available at The Back Mountain Farmer's Market on Saturdays and the Mountaintop Rotary Farmer's Market on Sundays. We will also be at Heller's Apple Festival on October 15th and 16th.
Retail locations include Lark Mountain Marketplace, Rt. 309 in Wilkes-Barre, Crestwood Pharmacy, Rt. 309 in Mountaintop, The Lands at Hillside Farms in Dallas, Whistle Pig Pumpkin Patch on Rt. 29 in Noxen, and O'Hara Orchards in Dorrance.
